We are thrilled to be shortlisted for a Housing Design Award for our later living scheme, West Malling in Kent.
The 140-home development is designed to achieve whole life net zero carbon. The site further unlocks the rich ecological value through the careful arrangement of villa blocks, informed by nearby Georgian buildings, in a landscaped sanctuary. The development has a strong sense of place, designed to encourage neighbourliness, active lifestyles, and strong connections with the wider town.
The project is a part of RVG’s Thrive Living Collectio which offers an exemplar for retirement living, focusing on higher design standards for space, quality, wellbeing, sustainability and placemaking.
The winner will be announced at the award ceremony in September – fingers crossed!
