“There’s a new sensation; A fabulous creation; A danceable solution; To teenage revolution.”
So sang the inimitable Bryan Ferry, and as we enter our late teens, it’s our turn to Do the Strand.
RCKa started life nearly 20 years ago, and we’ve spent most of the last two decades in east London; first in Farringdon, then after a spell in Holborn, over to Old Street, where we’ve been since 2020. All good things must come to an end, though, and a fortnight ago we moved into the West Wing of Somerset House—William Chambers’ masterpiece facing the Thames (and former headquarters of HMRC). We’ve plugged in the computers, dug out the teapot and are finally ready to welcome visitors.
So, if you fancy dancing on moonbeams, sliding on rainbows—or simply dropping by for a coffee (blue jeans welcome, but perhaps leave the furs at home), we’d be delighted to welcome you to our new home. We can’t offer Quadrilles or cheap thrills…but we do have a few branded tote bags available for special visitors.
Failing that, you might just want to update your records for administrative purposes.
