RCKa named Architect of the Year at the AJ Architecture Awards

RCKa has been named Architect of the Year at the 2025 Architect of the Year awards, having also secured the winning spot in the Community and Faith category for its Highgate Newtown Community Centre in Camden. This marks the end of a successful fortnight, with the scheme—designed for Camden Council—also winning the Inside Housing Development Award for best affordable housing development above £20m, as well as the NLA’s residential category and overall winner.

Writing about the award, the Architects’ Journal said “All in all, RCKa now occupies a distinct and impressive role in British architecture. It combines high-quality architectural design with business-model thinking underpinned by a profound dedication to creating social value”.
