Quincy Haynes

Quincy graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2017. During his degree, he developed an interest for merging architectural typologies and considering how they may be adapted for future contexts.

His final thesis project, based on the Lincolnshire coast, explored how the conventional civic typology and public realm could be adapted to suit a new flooded landscape, particularly how an institutions framework can be altered to respond to the new needs of the local community. He previously worked at Hawkins\Brown with a focus on Higher Education projects and recently collaborated with a group of architects on a London Festival of Architecture competition to design and build a float at London Pride.

As a member of the RCKa team, Quincy is delivering the Ryde Nicholson Road mixed use community-led masterplan in Ryde for the Isle of Wight Council.
