Michael Pitman

Michael joined RCKa in 2013 as Project Architect for the delivery of Pegasus Hortsley, a contemporary later living development in the south coast town of Seaford, East Sussex. The project received a Housing Design Award in 2019.

Michael was involved in RCKa’s implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), utilising Autodesk Revit to increase efficiency and accuracy of the practice’s output.

Michael studied at Newcastle and Manchester Universities and gained extensive experience within the industry with an emphasis on housing whilst working for four years at Levitt Bernstein.

Michael gained contractor experience working as a Design Coordinator for L&Q in 2018 & 2019, based on site in Greenwich overseeing the construction of a 41 dwelling residential building.

Prior to returning to RCKa in 2021, he also gained experience working on domestic scale projects, and the use of MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) on air space developments in South London.
