RCKa works extensively with public sector clients, many of which appoint us through direct awards.
We are members of several public sector frameworks, all of which are compliant with the Public Contract Regulations. These allow call-off appointments to be made without going through a mini-competition process, which can be time-consuming and expensive.
The choice of framework will depend upon the geographic location of the project you have in mind.
London
RCKa is appointed to Lot 2 of the Notting Hill Genesis Development Consultancy Framework which runs until 1 December 2028, published under OJEU notice reference 2022/S 000-018836. The framework is open to any public body commissioning architectural services within the Greater London area, for any size or type of project.
There is no administration fee or levy associated with appointing us via this method.
Southeast England
Outside of London, but anywhere within the southeast region, RCKa can be appointed by any public body through the LHC MDC1 framework, where we are appointed to Workstream 1 – Architects.
The geographic extent of projects can range anywhere from Oxfordshire in the northwest, the New Forest in the southwest, Tendring in the northeast to the Kent coast. Project cannot be in London, and there is a 2.5% levy applied to fees which is payable to LHC. The framework runs until 20 January 2028.
If you represent a public body under English law, and you’re interested in commissioning us directly to a project, please get in touch and we’ll guide you through the process.
