Announced at a ceremony in central London, Highgate Newtown Community Centre won a prestigious Housing Design Award.
This one is especially meaningful. It’s our seventh Housing Design Award and the second for this project, having secured a project award in 2018. HNCC opened to residents last year, making this the first award since the scheme’s completion, which is testament to the amazing community who have made it their home.
Throughout the decade-long journey to delivery, we engaged with over 178 stakeholder groups to ensure the centre truly reflects local needs. Since opening, the centre has seen a 130% increase in participant membership; clear evidence of its positive impact.
