Boughton Heath wins a Housing Design Award

RCKa is delighted to have won yet another Housing Design Award – our fourth in five years. With planning secured in late 2020, the Boughton Heath development is our first for Retirement Villages Group, and when complete will be the UK’s first project of its type to achieve Fitwel certification which measures building’s performance for mental and physical wellbeing.⠀

Designed to be zero carbon in both construction and use, the scheme will provide over 150 homes for later living on the outskirts of Chester. It also includes a range of non-residential uses which are accessible to the wider community, including a wellbeing suite and restaurant.
