Season’s Greetings from RCKa

As another year draws to a close we’re delighted to reflect on twelve more successful months during which RCKa has grown to more than twenty people and expanded into exciting new areas of work.

Highlights from 2019 include our appointment to an exceptional team charged with masterplanning a new neighbourhood for the Olympic Park, and winning a third Housing Design Award for our Hortsley later-living development for PegasusLife. At the ceremony we were treated to a touching film featuring residents discussing how the building has helped them forge new friendships and cultivate a vibrant new community in the heart of Seaford.

In August we submitted planning for a major new community hub and business park on the Isle of Wight, and at the end of the summer we were chosen from a stellar shortlist to design a new school for The Children’s Trust in Surrey. Wrapping up the year, our Park House development won an Inside Housing Development Award and an annual study trip continued our ongoing research into social value during a weekend visit to Eindhoven.

Thank you for your continuing help and support. 2020 is shaping up be a busy and exciting year, and we’re looking forward to working with you all to bring some more great projects to fruition.
