RCKa director Russell Curtis appointed to Newham Council’s Design Review Panel

Russell was appointed to the panel following an open call, and joins a new cohort of built environment specialists which will assist officers in responding to the changing face of the borough as it accommodates huge growth in the coming years. The panel has a particular focus on large-scale projects within Canning Town, the Royal Docks and the Lower Lea Valley.

This is Russell’s fourth design review appointment, following on from his appointment to the LLDC Quality Review Panel, Croydon’s Place Review Panel and the Mayor of London’s London Review Panel.

Fellow directors Tim Riley and Dieter Kleiner also support several of the London Boroughs with design review, sitting on panels for Haringey, Harrow, Hounslow, Sutton and Kingston, as well as CABE and Design South East.
