RCKa has been selected by the Mayor of London to join his prestigious Architecture & Urbanism (A+U) framework, securing a place on the maximum number of three lots.
The A+U Framework can be used by the Greater London Authority Group and other public sector commissioning authorities to appoint high-quality architectural, place making and urban planning design services for a range of built environment projects. It is organised into 10 different categories of work to ensure high standards at every stage of the design process.
The practice was chosen from 578 submissions submitted by 273 suppliers, with 96 places across all ten lots going to 65 practices.
RCKa has been appointed to the following lots, cementing its reputation as one of London’s leading practices working in the public sector:
- Lot 3 – High Street and Town Centre Recovery and Transformation
- Lot 5 – Civic, Cultural and Social Infrastructure
- Lot 7 – Small Sites Housing
The Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, Jules Pipe, said:
